Cardiac Rehabilitation
Cardiac rehabilitation is recommended for all patients following coronary artery bypass surgery, yet little is known about the long term mortality effects of rehabilitation in this population. A study concluded that cardiac rehabilitation is associated with a significant reduction in 10 year all-cause mortality following surgery. The abstract can be found here.
