How to prepare?

Preparation can be done using several approaches. If you are familiar with the current Guidelines (2015 Guidelines for CPR & ECC), take the exam now after a quick review of the online case studies. If you need a more in-depth review, or if this is your first certification, prepare using the either the ACLS provider manual or handbook. If you have registered for the full course, you will receive printed study materials in the mail as part of your registration. If you are recertifying, materials can be ordered on this site.

Curriculum

The curriculum for this course is based entirely on the clinical recommendations of the American Heart Association's International Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR)These are also known as the 2015 Guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care. AMRI's educational materials are presented using clinically based "case studies" which clients report as the most effective method for successful learning.
