Aspirin Therapy Is Not Right for Everyone
It is common knowledge that those who have had a heart attack or a stroke in the past can lower their risk of a future event by taking a low dose of aspirin daily. However, aspirin therapy should not be used as a preventive measure by those who not suffered heart problems in the past. This was recently reported by HealthDayreporter, Robert Preidt in an article entitled Daily Aspirin Regimen Not Safe for Everyone: FDA.
According to Preidt, there is no evidence to support the fact that a daily low dose of aspirin has any health benefits to those who have not experienced a heart attack or stroke, and can, in fact, lead to other health issues instead. While the FDA is still running clinical trials to test the possible benefits of aspirin therapy, at this time, it is not recommended for all patients. Read the article to learn more.
